{"id":56,"date":"2019-09-12T22:48:14","date_gmt":"2019-09-13T02:48:14","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/osteopathyinkw.com\/?page_id=56"},"modified":"2026-04-29T11:58:00","modified_gmt":"2026-04-29T15:58:00","slug":"andrew-komer-osteopath-kitchener-waterloo","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/osteopathyinkw.com\/?page_id=56","title":{"rendered":"Andrew Komer, M.OMSc"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center has-text-color has-large-font-size wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"color:#22b4e1\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Andrew Komer, M.OMSc<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-very-light-gray-background-color has-background wp-block-paragraph\"><em>&#8220;My Osteopathic education led me down the path of understanding how the disease process relates to anatomy and physiology and how Osteopathy can help patient&#8217;s up-build health.&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Andrew Komer graduated<\/strong>&nbsp;from Conestoga College in Business Administration Accounting and had a successful career in the Accounting profession for 12 years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>In 2008 <\/strong>Andrew&nbsp;began his second career as a health care professional and graduated with honors from the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy obtaining his designation as a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As Andrew&#8217;s practice grew, so did his desire to determine the root cause of pain, dysfunction, and the disease process to better assist with his patient&#8217;s healthcare needs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>In 2010 <\/strong>Andrew<strong>&nbsp;<\/strong>was introduced to Osteopathy and committed to four additional years of education at the Canadian Academy of Osteopathy (CAO) learning Osteopathic Manual Therapy (OMT).&nbsp; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>In 2014 <\/strong>Andrew graduated and obtained his M.OMSc designation to become an Osteopathic Manual Practitioner.&nbsp; Following completion of the program Andrew spent several years a member of the faculty supervising at the CAO student clinic where he coached and mentored students while they practice their skills.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large is-resized\"><a href=\"http:\/\/osteopathyinkw.com\/?page_id=11\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1023\" height=\"161\" src=\"http:\/\/osteopathyinkw.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/osteologo-crop.jpg\" alt=\"Andrew Komer osetopathy in kw therapists\" class=\"wp-image-6\" style=\"width:580px;height:91px\" srcset=\"https:\/\/osteopathyinkw.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/osteologo-crop.jpg 1023w, https:\/\/osteopathyinkw.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/osteologo-crop-300x47.jpg 300w, https:\/\/osteopathyinkw.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/osteologo-crop-768x121.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1023px) 100vw, 1023px\" \/><\/a><\/figure>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Andrew Komer, M.OMSc &#8220;My Osteopathic education led me down the path of understanding how the disease process relates to anatomy and physiology and how Osteopathy can help patient&#8217;s up-build health.&#8221; Andrew Komer graduated&nbsp;from Conestoga College in Business Administration Accounting and had a successful career in the Accounting profession for 12 years.
